Anti-Spam Policy
Cultural venues depend on goodwill, and so does every message we send for them. Mail that arrives uninvited spends that goodwill for every house on our systems at once. We do not tolerate it.
Commitments
- Programme newsletters go only to people who signed up and confirmed their address.
- Ticket buyers receive information about their booking, and advertising only if they separately opted in.
- Audience lists of one house are never merged with, lent to or copied for another — not even a sister venue.
- Before a house sends its first newsletter through us, we ask how its list was built and keep the answer on file.
Violations
- Mailing guests of an event who never subscribed to anything.
- Lists taken over from a ticketing partner, a sponsor or a previous festival without fresh consent.
- A practical notice used as a vehicle for promotion.
- Unsubscribe requests that are ignored, delayed or made conditional.
Handling of reports
- We acknowledge every report and trace the mailing to the house and the list it came from.
- A plausible report halts that mailing immediately; we investigate while it is paused.
- If a violation is confirmed, we stop working for that house and the address in question is blocked for good.
- Operators of blocklists can request the facts of a case at the address below.
Send us a report
Please forward the unwanted message including its complete headers. They show us the exact path and let us stop the right mailing.
